You're just not playing like my opponents do. The last 4 times I've had AA vs. KK, KK has hit a set to bust me each and every time. I love it... sort of like a masochistic pain that keeps giving. At least it hasn't happened to me when I try and move up to a game 20 times my normal size...

Had a bad feeling about aces.

Let's see...He raises, you reraise and only have 1300. Seeing that you're a brand new player and with you knowing that he has 5000 in front of him, he knows you're not just making a move. He's putting you on 3 hands. AK, KK, QQ...but you probably wouldn't do that with AK. So he's putting you on either KK or QQ. And sure, he can just call but scared an Ace or King on the flop might kill his action. I still don't like his play because because if you had Queens, he wouldn't have gotten any money from you preflop. So he has to simply hope the flop is Jack high.

I guess he simply hoped you had Kings and wouldn't fold. Lots of the "you know I know that he knows that I know" stuff going on here.

Still a very tough fold/call against an unknown but he was willing to push and risk $1300 in a $2000 game. There are only two hands I can see him doing that with.

No brainer call. There shouldn't be any discussion about this.

Don't take shots at games 20x higher than your current one. Good luck.

There are a lot of players that will play many hands like this. I think AA-TT, AK/AQ are all possible.
