I love how donkeys insult solid high limit players, and then when a solid high limit player, well known on this site for excellent play and a high degree of knowledge, says that the fellow plays strong, and the donk continues by insulting him as well.

Go back to your hot stove league or whatever joke of a site you run, and don't comment on players playing at a level you will never attain.

It's my impression that Andrew wrote PokerStove. This accomplishment alone proves his intelligence is top 0.1%, so he can hardly be dismissed as a "donk."

However, I don't understand why he's so rude.

Mostly, I just get bored, that's all. Normally, I'm not that rude, but I seem to have some difficulty expressing contrary ideas in a polite manner. I certainly could work on that aspect of my online interactions.

Never seen that nick before in my life. You must play on party. I don't play on party. But ifyou play on Paradise or PokerStars, I'm sure we'll bump into each other sooner or later.

Good luck at the tables,

- Andrew

I also agree he plays a good tough game. And he's definately not unimaginative.

I would be interested to hear any high-limit online players comment on this thread on neverwinpoker. Dan Druff, aka Todd Witteles, 2005 WSOP bracelet winner, has been running so bad in the Stars 100/200 than he is entertaining some notions about a "kill switch" that makes certain players lose. He does NOT say he believes in it, but he seems to be seriously considering it as an idea. Notice he doesn't have pokertracker, so there isn't any hard data.

thread is here

Most likely Dan Druff is just hamming it up for all the broke ass idiots on that site. If he was REALLY that upset about all of these beats it would shock me.

[/ QUOTE ]

When you are losing $1000s day in day out while playing your A game against retards it's very easy to start thinking all kinds of crazy things.

[/ QUOTE ]

I imagine, Dan, like many other players (including some of the most respected 2+2ers) vastly underestimates the variance inherent in poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is why some of us play NL.

you have made some interesting posts, andrew, but in my book you substitute being an [censored] for actually validating your points. in every recent instance where you've flown off the handle and started calling specific people out, i haven't found any material amount of your assertions self-evident. if i did, i would think, "hey the dickhead's right." it seems like that's the exact type of credit you're seeking, but you're just getting the dickhead part. it looks like you're really mistaking it for the former based on how you "kick it up a notch" with every negative response you receive. just because people disagree with you and think you're a prick, it doesn't mean that you were right.
