Default AA gets reraised all in on a KQ6 board?

UB $1/2 NL. Villain is a LAG with horrible hand selection preflop but good post flop play. He has shown off some big bluffs, and is willing to push draws if he has the proper outs. This hand I have AA, villain bet on flop, I raised, he reraises all in. At this point I have committed about half of my money. Should I call the all in? Am I beat on the flop? Was my call right?

Started at 12/Dec/05 15:36:43

bigbruin is at seat 0 with $394.65.
Villain is at seat 1 with $166.30.
rube is at seat 2 with $54.75.
Hero is at seat 3 with $152.15.
Kissofdeath77 is at seat 4 with $94.80.
jeffa9 is at seat 5 with $198.80.
The button is at seat 0.

mikeroels posts the small blind of $1.
rube posts the big blind of $2.

i probably fold, the threebet doesnt look good for you. KQ maybe, or pair flushdraw, or maybe JdTd. (This isnt possible, but hero doesnt know this at the time.

do you have the ace of diamonds?

against any reasonable player i think this is a fold. He either has KQ, 66 or some type of monster draw J10d.

Against a LAG, i dunno, i would flip a coin.

I already peeked at the results, but I fold in your situation and expect to see KQ or 66 most of the time here.

All looks well up until the final call (lets check the pot odds) calling about 80 to win about 165: about 2-1... will you win the pot 1/3 of the time?

odds if against: (with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], without it doesnt change much)
KQ = 30/70
66 = 15/85
J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] = 55/45

Against a LAG who likes to make big moves... I think I'd call here.

This is a prime example of the power of the semi-bluff

You are either slightly ahead, or WAY behind.
If he has KQ you are drawing thin.
If he has 66 you are drawing virtually dead.
If he's got a combo draw you are ahead but its basically a coinflip...if he's got an OESFD you are a slight dog.
If he's just got the naked flush draw you are a decent favorite.

The times you are behind up there you virtually never win. The times you are ahead you lose anywhere from 30% to 50% of the time. what you have to determine is how often does he have nothing but a flush draw and how much of the time does he have the combo draw or the set/2 pair. I probably fold here because of the coordinated nature of the board...it makes the combo draw or the 2 pair, set just too likely for me to feel good about sticking my money in with TP. This is kind of a bad beat post as well.

So i should put him on KQ or 66 right?.. btw the LAG has been making moves and bluffs but never in big pots...and never when he's been raised...plus all his moves were against weaker players who would show like second pair or a weak kicker...till now none of his moves have been out of line

his move isn't out of line now.

Jd 9d 455 45.96 535 54.04 0 0.00 0.460

If he thinks there is any chance that you'll fold, and you must have considered it on that flop, then his move is basically a coinflip that he won this time. Moves like this are great because next time he tries this same move he might have 66 and you'll think he's drawing again and get your money in dead....see why it's good poker?

How much more likely is someone to fold to this type of move if the villan is playing a TAG style? I attempt to be TAG but have never pushed an edge so hard...

Guin... wanting to expand his moves to get to the 1/2 NL.
