Default An AQ hand (also titled oh, how I feel so marginal in your presence)

I am not an "Ace Queen" fan. Still, occasionally I play it, and wonder why.

$1/$2 NL, I have around $300 in front of me.

I'm in EP, and look down to see an ace and a lady, and open for a raise $12. The usual crowd of clowns begin calling, and then smart TAG calls saying "how do you like me calling you here? It's gotta make you nervous", and it does. We had just went for a smoke 15 minutes ago, and chatted about the players, I talked about a hand where I flopped trips and check called the whole way, and we talked about admiring both of our plays. Bunch of pretentious pricks we are ; 0

The flop came down A52 rainbow. I bet $40 (the pot is $50ish), and he calls.

The turn is an 8. I check, he checks.

River is another 8. I bet $15 (lol) he calls.

I don't want to play against him, and was tempted to go check check check on all streets.
