Default Need input on two hands

First hand (I had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]):
Button was a calling station and a bit on the maniacish side. I know I can't fold the river here but is there ANYWAY I could have made it wrong for him to call? (ie. check the flop and bet/raise the turn)

PokerRoom 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: is with , . MP1 posts a blind of $0.25. MP2 posts a blind of $0.25.

UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG+1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 19.30 BB

Results in white below:
MP3 has Jh 6d (one pair, aces).
CO doesn't show.
Button has 4d 4c (full house, fours full of aces).
Outcome: Button wins 19.30 BB.

He then proceeded to win a huge pot (was $8 PREFLOP AA vs. my KK). I went tiltish for a bit and lost my buy in.

Anyways, here's the second hand (I had 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]):
No reads.

Default Re: Need input on two hands

Hand 1: It was already wrong for him to call the flop. Getting 14:1 is not enough to hit a set. It was furthermore wrong for him to call the turn. Getting 10:1 is not enough to hit a set. This hand looks fine.

Hand 2: Looks good.

edit- Post em one at a time next go round.
