Default What to do during a bad streak?

There are days when the money just keeps coming in. 6BB+/hour.
That's most days. And then there are the days when everyone seems to hit their gutshots against you and premium hands dont seem so premium anymore. +ev becomes -ev in the short run. and you begin to wonder if you should be raising hands pf for value when it just seems like you're losing more. During times like these, I find it difficult to stay away from the game in hopes for things to become better. but then i remind myself that its all part of the game. I guess i can't seem to get away from the idea that maybe i should give it a rest and come back a few days later. What do you guys do in moments like these? I'm curious to know how you guys would handle it.

If you're not playing well, get up and take a break until your mind is clear.

If you are playing well, keep playing until you want to stop.

It is? Maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

As for the main content of yr post: I highly recommend the book Zen and the Art of Poker.

I'd say, keep playing as long as the table is juicy and your mind is right.
