[/ QUOTE ] I knew the river play was nasty . Trouble was, he misclicked preflop with 8-2 off, which runner runnered a better 2 pair on me. I just stared at the monitor for a few seconds. |

Re: Let\'s play a $500 pot with 6-2 sooooooted
I like a smaller raise on the river. What are the effective pot sizes? I'm calualting 18 on flop 48 after the 15 bet and call then a 20 bet on the river which you push around 220 in? A pot sized reraise would be moving upto 100? Why such an overbet?

Aces up,
Never speak these words again. "SB leads for $15, I have a 2 pair draw so I call." Or play a 2 Pair Draw Asking politely, crosse |

Re: Let\'s play a $500 pot with 6-2 sooooooted
wow you would have made it straight onto my donkey list if i was at the table
I don't understand why you wouldn't just fold prelop. Or not fold on the flop when you are behind and have a crap hand and no reads or reason. Or why you would put it all in on the river with a poor hand, only get called by a better one, etc. there is sooooo much that beats you, esp given the range of the hands given the preflop action. I don't get it. |

Re: Let\'s play a $500 pot with 6-2 sooooooted
bet the turn.
if on the flop, you were 100% sure he has overpair, then you should fold the flop. but obviously you called because you figured there is a percentage of the time he is on continuation bet. given that he checked the turn, I don't think overpairs check that turn ever, bet the turn and charge for his 6 outer. |

That's probably worse. |
