Default Limit exchange rate from internet to B&M in vegas?

i also posted this in internet section and they suggested i ask here as well:

it seems like ive heard people say things like playing 5/10 in vegas is comparable to 2/4 on party or things to that effect. and was curious what the concensus is on that. i am planning a trip to vegas in August. i normally just clear bonuses 4 tabling 3/6 and am a moderate (1-1.5bb/100) winner. ill probably bring 3-5k to vegas and will be saying for 4 days. also we are gunna tour around and check out all the fancy rooms but can anyone suggest good places to play at recommended limit? thanks for the help zoo!

with a 4k bankroll you should be able to handle the 8-16 and 15-30 at the Bellagio and Wynn. Also check out 10-20 at MGM, Mirage and Mandalay.

if you have never played at a B&M casino before, i suggest starting out at 4-8 for a few hours to get used to the speed and rules of the game.

I recently started over at Party Poker and have been working my way through the limits, so I've got a few thousand hands at each limit recently. I play 5/10 at a casino that spreads 5/10 and 10/20, and that game plays like PP .5/1. That is not an exaggeration, as the players at PP 1/2 will sometimes raise PF with autoraise hands and also sometimes fold for 1 bet PF, the players at the 5/10 will not. In fact PP .5/1 is sometimes tougher to beat. I also play 10/20 at a casino that spreads 4/8, 10/20, and 20/40 and I've found it to play like PP 2/4. Some players have a good understanding of basic strategy, but there are plenty who don't realize there can be strategies involved in poker. These observations were made between the hours of 6pm-6am when the games are the best, and your particular results may vary. I've never played in Vegas but from what I hear the games aren't much different there. If you can win consistently at 3/6 I have a feeling you could also win at 20/40, but if you're only bringing 5k you might want to stay no higher than 10/20. And of course if you're new to B&M play start with a lower limit that doesn't intimidate you to get used to the flow of the game, just don't start thinking you should stay at the lowest limit table because you're crushing it, the higher limits won't be too much more difficult.
