Default PokerRoom: Grand Tournament III $1000 NLHE (2 days?)

Anyone know any info, or how to get info, on this tourney. The info on there website is almost nothing. What are the levels? When does and how day 1 end? Is day 2 just a continuation of day 1 or does day 1 act as some kind of satellite? etc.

Any info?

I played it last year. A ton of play in the tourney, highly recommended.

I guess it wasn't last year it was earlier this year.

That times the stacks started at 10k with 30 minutes levels the blinds were:

10/20
15/30
25/50
50/100
75/150

etc.

I have to say my table had one total fish who busted out very quickly and after that (unfortunately) the table was pretty damn tough.

It was tough enough that I wasn't sure how much of an overlay I had (if any).

Hard to say though if that was just one tough table.

That being said, plenty of good players were in it, Gus Hansen, many here, but also probably a bunch of qualifiers.

On second thought, I am guessing my table was much harder than average fwiw.

My recollection also might be somewhat colored by missing everything, which can make poker incredibly tricky to play.

Its like in limit I feel like I am Barry Greenstein when I get AK and flop tptk heads up and bet every street. I then feel like a beginner when the next day I miss and get check-raised every turn.
