This would imply that the word "gay" is usually used in a non-pejorative way. I don't see how that can be accurate considering homosexuality is akin to alcoholism. Both actions have a choice, disease, addiction, and sin components.


For example. If I said, "Why did you fold the river in a huge pot!? Were you drunk?"

I don't think there are going to be too many people complaining that the word "drunk" is used in a pejorative manner.
