Re: Pocket Kings: This got out of control real quick
Talk about chaos theory coming into full effect in this hand. I would kinda cringe seeing this flop after all the action preflop, but would bet out as well. I definitely wouldnt cap however (just like you said its more likely than not your behind, possibly far behind) and I dont think your cap will get you a free card on the flop "looking like a trap".
On the turn I'm dumping this. Middle position screams set or AK. The pot is offering you 8.5-1 right now and thats not even nearly enough as your quite likely to chop if your strait hits. Furthermore, UTG is quite likely to just try to go all-in by making it $30 behind you, thus opening it up for a cap which you really cant like calling. Hope for a better flop next time man. regards, Mike Emery |

Full river action and results
River: (33 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button bets, Hero folds, MP2 raises, Button 3-bets, MP2 calls. Final Pot: 39 BB Results in white below: UTG+1 has 8d 9s (straight, queen high). MP2 has Ah Kh (straight, ace high). Button has Td Qs (full house, queens full of tens). Outcome: Button wins 39 BB. Thanks for the replies. This is one of the biggest pots I've been a part of, and, all in all, I wish I had been less of a part of it. |

Re: Full river action and results
Wow. It sucks u lost that, but I also really feel sorry for the guy with AKs -- had every one dominated, 72 percent he takes it down. With KK Id fold the turn, Id have to let the money sail. If I had AKs, Id probably kill my cat because of that river.
