Re: Best $1 Chip
I am a sucker for fruity colored chips. I blame my 1980s adolescence. |

Re: Best $1 Chip
Bally's is the easy winner. But you have to see it in person; the picture itself is nice, but the material and texture is what makes it #1.
Lucky Chances is #2. It's nice and heavy, feels like more than it's worth. |

Re: Best $1 Chip
its been about a year but i remember the Palm's having nice chips in general, so the $1 must have been pretty nice too.

Re: Best $1 Chip
Ring me tomorrow and I'll put up a pic of the Rio Mar chip. I think it's rather unspectacular, though. They had much cooler $25 promissory chips. I wasn't willing to dare walk out with one.

Re: Best $1 Chip
Ya know, I've often thought of the idea of going to 3 or 4 different casinos which use different color $1 chips (or if they're whitish, enough of a different pattern) and building my home chip-set that way.
Buy a few racks, and take the newer ones. I mean, you get real casino quality chips for a buck a piece and if you get tired of them, you can get a full refund. |
