Re: Pokeroom $10+1 99 w/ 13bb
You're 50% against this calling range: 55+,ATs+,AJo+
With the dead chips you are getting 2.2:1 and anyway he will probably fold half the time so I think its good - if you think UTG+1 has loose calling standards. But if his range is TT+,AKs,AKo, then its not so good (you are only 30% vs that range.) So you would need a read on him to make the play. |

Re: Pokeroom $10+1 99 w/ 13bb
I found the move uneccasary this early in the tourney. I think you can wait for a better spot. I also hate open pushing as it usually limits the hands that call you to the ones that will beat you. People tenc to call more frequentyl when you push,...

Re: Pokeroom $10+1 99 w/ 13bb
Oops I made a mistake. Whoever calls your push is getting 1.2:1 not 2.2:1 (assuming just 1 caller). So its even money. But you are pushing 13 BB, so you should only be getting called by an overpair. Then again this pokerroom. I think pushing here is risky but I also think you will get away with it most of the time and get called by AQ+ alot of times too. So I dont know. I definately wouldnt try it if there is a stack that covers you (aside from UTG) left to act. But if there isnt I kinda like the gamble.
