Unless the player is tricky, I call this every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. At lower levels this move is too often a mid-sized pair; I admit I'm not as familiar with the $109's though. As already said, AA and KK would usually not want to push you off here.

At the 22's I can't fold this...too many uber-donks who'd push Ax or 88 in this spot.

However, the upper-level players being so certain about folding QQ in the 109's is what leads me to know that I am not ready for the 109's. I certainly see the logic in folding...but in the 22 routine, I'd never ever fold it. Am I wrong for auto-calling here in the 22's?

IMO, absolutely not, for the reasons you stated.

There's a lot of those players in the 109s too. True, there are some good players like Raptor and others who have posted on this thread, but IMO the AQ or lower pair crowd is still larger than the AA or KK group, so again, I'd call.

I checked on Poker Prophecy free edition. He's about 36% in both the 100s and 55s, in about 1,000 tournaments. So while he's better than average, he's not amazing.

Since you know him a little bit, its a pretty easy fold, believe it or not.
Against a random guy i havent seen im going to call a high percentage of the time. Michael is right that there are a ton of bad players at the 109's especially during peak hours.
