I overplay 99
Both opponents in this hand have TAGish stats. I haven't noticed either get out of line.
Party 10/20, 6 handed. I am in the CO with 99. UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, I 3 bet (standard?), Button folds, SB calls 3 cold, UTG+1 caps, we both call of course. Flop: 55K rainbow SB checks, UTG+1 bets, I call (?), SB calls. Turn: Another 5 hits the board. SB checks, UTG+1 bets, I raise, intending it to be the last bet I put in the pot. Good or dumb? Should I have bailed earlier in the hand? Edit: Fixed the action. |

The flop. I don't see one hand you're ahead of. AQs, maybe, but even that might be stretching it

Re: I overplay 99
Even if he is super snug (this is like 11ish, which translates to less than a 15 pfr IMO) you are ok 3-betting with the dead money. Preflop is routine.

Re: I overplay 99
No, definitely 3-bet preflop. But you're getting 14:1 on the flop, I don't see how you can have the best hand now and you're not getting the odds to try and improve
edit: This might be close to being a flop peel... but I'll let someone less poker mathematically challenged figure that out |

Re: I overplay 99
I fold the flop. We're not folding any better hands, ever, and we don't have odds to draw.
I like preflop. Surf |
