Default Unsure about this QJ hand.

5 handed 5/10 at party

MP is 28/15/1.5, and a pretty decent player.

I have QJ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the SB and MP raises. I call, BB calls.

Flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, BB folds, MP raises, I 3-bet, MP calls.

Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet, MP calls.

River 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I..?

Preflop and river comments please. what do you guys do with QJs in the SB? 3-betting have any merit?

fold preflop, checkraise the flop

I don't know, check/call the river maybe? I think you're toast.

Hmm, with BB possibly calling a preflop call is allright I think (?).
(Sometimes I even coldcall QJs with 2+ players)

I dunno, a TAG raise from MP with the 2/5 structure, I think it's a pretty easy fold. You didn't know BB was calling before you called.

If BB is loose I'm calling here preflop. I would usually check/call this turn, and re-evaluate on the river (assuming he bet the turn)

edit-but maybe im not used to adjustments for a 2/5 structure...

fold preflop

Woah, 28/15 opening, I think folding is a little tight. If hes a 28/5, yeah, I fold it.

I dont like this 3-bet at all. I generally check-raise these kinds of flops with our nice relative position, but when you're raised I think we have to call and re-evaulate the turn card. I fold the turn unless he raises the flop with mid pairs.

i'd much rather 3-bet myself than be 3-bet when I'm checkraising. he could be raising overs here, or AT, KT, QT.

Checkraise the flop.

Turn card is horrible I probably check/call check/fold.

If you arent sure then put 2 bets in.
