Default QJs Interesting hand

$60NL Live tournament at Chumash Casino Early in the tournament. 160 players. Payout is top 40. I have a TAG image, made 1 good all in call with AK on a flush board. UTG+1 no reads. CO and the button are pretty loose passive. Villan is pretty tricky has picked up a few pots by betting big but no real reads.

Blinds:100/200
Hero(6000)
UTG+1(4500)
CO(6000)
Button(3500)
Villan(6500)

Preflop: Hero(UTG)QJs Raises to 500, UTG+1 calls, folds to co, CO calls, Button calls, BB raises to 900. Calls all around.

5 way Pot:4600

Flop: JQK rainbow, BB slides. Hero ?

I am staring the villin up and down trying to get a read. He seems uninterested in the hand and is watching a football game yelling about a play.

What range do you put the villan on?

Why does he raise only 400 from the BB with 3 other callers? Then he (slides = all-in right?) push in front of 3 players. He could have set up a bluff but not very likely.

I put him on AK, QQ, KK and AA.

You beat AK and AA but not QQ and KK.

AK = 12 combos (60 - 40 ahead)
AA = 6 combos (60 - 40 ahead)
QQ = 1 combo (drawing dead)
KK = 3 combos (drawing dead)

Overall : 49% - 51% behind. This call is even money plus the pre-flop bet, so it is a call.

Players left, Payout structure?

Thanks, added that information in.

My first thoughts are that he has either AK, AA, or TT.

I'm not worried about him, but about the other 3 players that are behind me. The slide just seemed a little ducky to me.

This is a legit betting pattern for AA, AK, AQs and possibly even AJs, KQs or KJs if the guy is LAG-gy. This is a legit betting pattern for TT if the guy is super LAG-gy and semi-bluffing trying to represent the AT.

IMHO, no way does he hold KK, QQ or JJ. If he has any of these holdings, the chances of anyone beating him with a straight are very remote. Is anyone really going to play AT with a UTG raise, even if it is a short table?

With a set and two player calling a preflop reraise, I would think he would definitely be check-raising a set, trying to trap one or both players all-in.

This is a dangerous board with second two, but I have to like it because it lessens the chance that either of the other opponents also have two pair.

As stated, you are probably loving it if the opponent has AA, AK, AQ or AJ.

It really depends on the opponents and some other factors. You are darn near drawing dead against KQs and KJs, both of which are very playable multiway in the short table, and possible holdings in this situation.

Despite all this, if truth be told without knowing the players or seeing the situation, I probably like my second two pair here. But if I push, then I have to be certain that the Button will fold. After this kind of flop, I like the QJ two way but not three way.

So, I'm taking it this is standard?
Call w/o and strong reads with 3 people behind?

I'm going to squirrel this through the foxhole-- unless he wobbles.

There is 4600 in the pot before villain's push and you have 5100 left. You have 2 pair. Call.

If the table is this loose, don't raise UTG with QJs.
