Do you value bet the river?
10/20 6 max. utg+1 limps in, sb completes. I check with A9h. I have $4800 and everyone covered.
Flop comes: 78T sb leads out for $80, I call, utg+1 calls. Turn A sb bets $220, I call, utg+1 folds. River 4 sb checks, make a value bet here? |

In general, I am not betting this river, but it would really depend on my read of SB, and my hand range for him on the turn. This changes dramatically for many players. |

Re: Do you value bet the river?
Well I put him on anything from a set, to two pair to a T. If he has two pair he isnt going to CR this river, and he might just call my river bet with a set, your basic weak tight player.

Re: Do you value bet the river?
He means figure out how many hands will call, then figure out if 50% or more of them are worse than Hero's hand.
If >50% are worse than hero's, bet. If not, check. |
