Default Wsop question

suppose in the wsop there was either 1 less or 1 more person each day 1, how different would the tourney last year played out?

I've thought about this before. Just adding one person to the tournament would probably mean that other players end up in different seats, get different cards, etc. Also, the extra player would be taking and giving chips, changing many future hands and stack sizes in the process. I think an extra person on each day could easily give us a new champ.

sorry if it wasnt clear but my question is, if there is one more person added to each day 1, would the outcome of the tournament be drastrically changed? what about 1 less person a day?

this just makes absolutely no sense to talk about. what if the dealer shuffled the cards differently at the final table? what if instead of 4 shuffles he did 5 every time... what if he used a different deck of cards.

these things don't make sense to talk about
