Call 2 on river?
Hand converter not working
Party .5/1 10 handed Reads: none as I was 3 tabling and was at the table maybe 10 minutes and not paying as much attention as I should have Hero is UTG and dealt [ Qd, As ] Hero calls, 2 folds MP1 RAISES, 4 folds, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls Flop [ Ks, Th, 9d ] SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls Turn [ 9s ] Checks all around River [ Js ] SB bets, BB calls, Hero calls, MP1 RAISES, SB RERAISES, BB folds, Hero folds, MP1 calls Result SB shows [ Jh 2s ] for 2 pair BB folded Hero folded a straight MP1 shows straight for $13.25 Preflop I normally raise A/Q off. This was a misclick. I am mainly concerned with the river. I can't see cold calling 2 bets with a possible flush and fullhouse out there. |

Re: Call 2 on river?
you shouldn't post results.
I'd call 2, but I'd be a crying call. |

Re: Call 2 on river?
I'd be the one facing mp1 with 2, instead of the other way around. I can't imagine a full house hand getting checked around on the turn. Make a note on SB, and only play tables you can pay more attention on. I can accept the misclick preflop on the first pass, but why not catch it and 3-bet MP1?

Re: Call 2 on river?
Unless the board was a lot scarier (i.e. four-flush or double paired), I wouldn't fold the nut straight.
Anyway, a full house would have bet the turn and the flush was a backdoor. I think you'll be good here enough of the time to be worth a call. |

Re: Call 2 on river?
Flush is a runner runner, so its unlikely but possible. The fullhouse was badly played on the turn, but its possible at this level.
Why didn't you raise the river? |

I played a 500 hand session 3 tabling today and this was the one hand I played the worst. Looking at this now, the fold was terrible and so was not raising in the first place on the river. I took the full 20 seconds to make the fold as I kept changing my mind. I lost to backdoor flushes 4 seperate times the day before and I can not assume someone hit the backdoor flush. |

Re: Call 2 on river?
I think with the checks on the turn, I could discount the boat. I think the river action increases the chances someone made a BDF but I don't think a call is out of line.
I know how you feel. This happened yesterday. Hero has AJo in CO. EP limps, folds, Hero raises, fold, SB calls, BB calls, limper calls. Flop T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Checked to Hero who bets, limper folds, blinds call. Turn 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Checked to Hero who bets, blinds call. River A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB bets, BB raises, Hero thinks....folds. BB takes down hand with AJ. |

Re: Call 2 on river?
Given the flop and turn action it's hard to give anybody credit for a boat. I'm not too worried about the flush because it's a backdoor one. I'll call here every time.
