Default Too rash?

My big leak has traditionally been waiting too long to get my chips in. Is this too soon?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed) converter

CO (t1920)
Button (t810)
SB (t935)
BB (t1275)
UTG (t3560)
MP1 (t3795)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to t1205, 2 folds, SB calls t860 (All-In), 1 fold.

Flop: (t2290) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: (t2290) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Well the two big stacks have folded, which is good. I think I still wait for a better hand though unless I'm on the button there.

Since two big stacks speak before you most of the time you are in a better position than other middle stacks. I would wait for better hand and/or position.

I would really just muck in all positions & jam from the SB, because any call is domination or a race.

You aren't desperate here, but of course could be in better shape.

4 people yet to act, still have 8 BBs, not the small stack, and with a hand that's going to be no better than a coinflip against anything but a hand that includes a deuce (and an 80/20 dog to any pair). I don't think this is the time.

(From the button, or with 5-6 BBs, or if I'm the smallest stack, or with even a vaguely respectable pair -- say, sixes -- I might do this. But everything's pointing the other direction in this case.)

Your stack is too deep to make this push IMO.
