Default Overpair vs LAG

Would you play this different? Have about 50 hands on Villian pretty apparent that he is LAG not sure if he is good LAG, more agressive post flop than pre-flop. The turn was where I specifically wasn't sure. I would guess if I checked he would bet hard anyway, pot is about both our stacks. How does the fact that he is LAG affect your turn decision?

Thanks.

I agree, given the stack sizes there's no turning back on 4th street. Standard hand, if he hit his two rag-pair then so be it.

That's what I thought given we both only had about the 50bb buy-in. I specificaly want to know how the LAG part would affect your decision or whether it is irrelevant. If this was up against a more TAGgy person would you slow down any on the turn after the call, or do you still go for it.

I was gonna say that too, must have gotten distracted

Here's my thinking:

TAG: If your pot bet is called on this flop you're probably being trapped. He knows pretty much that you have an overpair or high cards, and you might wanna check the turn. I don't think there are any implied odds here, if he had a hand like T9s, so he's not drawing. This guy won't pay off your overpair.

LAG: You're probably ahead. If the stacks were deeper, sometimes the best play is to check and give him a chance to bluff, or even bet a hand he thinks is the best, like AJ/KJ. These are excellent players to be playing overpairs against. They think their TPGK is the nuts.

Just my ramblings.

I disagree. In 25NL on party, im getting my money in here.
There is no reason to get tricky at this level. Betting out is almost always the best line, esp when you were the PF agressor. You will occasionally lost this pot, but that is unavoidable.

Raise more pre-flop. This is $1 BB, right? So raising to $2 won't drive out much competition. After that, everything looks good.

I agree. At Party with 50BB stacks there's no room for thinking and fine play. You just have to get all your money in with an overpair.
