Default 3/6 : Blind battle with ace high in position

Villain is a 58/5 and I generally regard him as FOS in my limited experience with him (30 hands or so).

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Line? Also, raising the flop seemed like possibly spewing even against a guy I think is FOS, but does anyone raise the flop?

What's FOS?

Raising the flop for a freecard doesnt make much sense, since if he caps preflop he's often got a PP or a good ace. If he has a good ace you are in lots of trouble. If he has a PP, you are still in some trouble.

The flop call is okay I guess, but I dont see how you cant fold that turn unless you plan on going to showdown with ace high.

I probably just ditch it. The board kind of sucks. There are a whole lot of unpleasant cards that can peel off on the turn. This guy is never slowing down. I think there are better spots if he's going to flat out jam your head in.

Assuming he bets. I'd just let it go. If he checks, I'd bet/fold, check though the river. Raising the flop seems like a waste. I don’t see what it accomplishes. Your odds are to good to fold the flop.
