Generally I've found when you show strength before the flop and an ace falls it is profitable to bluff at it. The larger pot though makes it harder as you don't want to get tied to the pot. I'd make a 1/2 - 2/3 pot bet and pray he gives it up, otherwise I'm going into fold mode :-\

TJ Cloutier says to check/fold. That is a little weak tight.

If I think there is a good chance my opponent(s) don't have an ace, I will bet about 2/3 pot, which will generally cause anyone without an ace or a decent draw to fold.

If I think someone has an ace and is not going to fold a weak ace, I will check/fold.

Do not check/fold. He could have any pocket pair. Pot is a little over 300. Bet 200. If he calls or raises go into check-fold mode. You gotta take a shot at this pot on the flop without committing yourself to it. W/ 200 still left with about 800.

HU I take a 1/2 pot stab.

otherwise I check it. Maybe throw in a min bet from last position. You would be surprised how often that takes it down.

I mix it up a little in this situation, because I am honestly not sure how to deal with it.

Your pre-flop raise in that situation makes a lot of players think you've got AA|KK|QQ|JJ|AK. 3/5 of those hands are dangerous, and the other 2 might be just as bad for your opponent. Most of the time I'll bet at least half the pot and duck out if someone plays back.

If I am in late position and people will give me respect I will bet 1/2-2/3 the pot depending on how deep my stack is. Your 100 seems good. After the check raise its a painful but obvious fold. If I am against 3 or more players with a flush/bway draw I will not even attempt to take the pot down.
