Villian is a maniac/LAG and pissed at me from previous hands. A few hands ago he 3 bet my UTG raise from the SB with A5o after MP cold called 2.

i like raising the turn, too many uncertain river cards (do you raise a club? fold to all 3-bets...if not, how do you decide?) and he is more likely to 3-bet a worse hand on the turn (the flush draw) as well as pay off turn raise cause of the draws on the turn. I like your line more if there is no 3-flush v a player who can fold as long as u raise most any river card.

Why would I want him to fold the river? That raise was stricly for value.

I know the river raise is for value, and I think there is more value on the turn. I only like your line v someone who can fold if you raise the turn. On a board like this that isn't a big concern, so there aren't many players against whom I would wait until the river to raise.

The thing is he is betting the river regardless of whether the flush hits.

I like it. Well played so long as you know the correct play if the 4th club falls.
