44 hand.
Villain in the hand is 50/18. Basically my thinking was that my 4's were probably good on this flop. When he raised me on the flop I honestly thought it was likely overs, but I wasn't sure. I decided to pull the stop-n-go here. Hate it/Love it?

Re: 44 hand.
You are about to find out if you are way ahead or way behind. I tend to do this more live than online, but if that is your read, then you have to go with it. I'm definitely folding to any sign of turn aggression.
If villain fires a second barrel here with only overs, you can fold knowing you will have his stack soon enough. |

Re: 44 hand.
If you think your probably good on the flop, and you want to represent a set on a 2-club flop, why not just 3-bet to $15 on the flop? It costs the same as calling $3 and betting $12 on the turn, but it looks a lot stronger. If he calls at that point, I'd give him credit for an overpair this time and let it all go by check/folding to anything but very small bets on the turn and river. I would not go all-in with 44 just because I have a read on villain as unable to lay down AK.

Re: 44 hand.
I have no intention of going all in...i have every intention of absolutely stopping after this bet...if he calls or raises i'm done. If he calls i'm checking the river.
