Re: Which is the hardest?
There isn't a chance in a million years that I'd beat an NBA player in a game of one on one. Maybe if I started with the ball and we played winners, but even then I'd have to hit the most rediculous shots in a row to even have a tiny chance. I'd say the easiest would be the penalty kick as you could probably guess right 10 to 15 percent of the time. I've played goal before, albeit at a much, much lower level, and as long as it was a shoot out and not a penalty kick where I'd have to control the rebound, I think 10-15% is an accurate guess, even higher if shots that hit the post or go wide count. Otherwise, there would be no incentive for them to do anything other than shoot for the tightest corners and if it hits the post, well, try again.

however, i would think as long as i had a route memorized, it wouldn't be very difficult to catch a pass. it's not like i have no agility/quickness to get mildly open. i have decent hands. [/ QUOTE ] just find the hole in the zone. or a screen pass. either way. |

Re: Which is the hardest?
You are in a wide receiver position, not the backfield and you will be bumped as soon as the ball is snapped.
Most of us would go down like an injured Todd Heap on the first play. |

[/ QUOTE ] Note that the cornerbacks usually play off the WRs because they have to respect the receiver's ability to sprint past them and catch a deep pass. They may not afford you the same courtesy. |

Re: Which is the hardest?
You'd get steam rolled by Ty law... unless it was a WR screen and you got lucky enough that he didn't knock you over before you even caught the ball

Stopping a penalty kick is by far the easiest. [/ QUOTE ] ....and you've stopped a penalty kick before...by anyone?? Do you know what is involved in doing this? I'd think the easiest one would be get a hit off a major league pitcher. Anyone up for bunting and running your a$$ off??? Joe |

[/ QUOTE ] I thought that was pretty funny too, considering most pro soccer goalies have a hard enough time at this as it is. 'Guessing right' is only 1/2 the battle. You still need to stop it. Catching the pass is obviously the easiest. I am assuming that I do not need to catch it against the entire defense, just the guy covering me. In addition, assuming we are playing by NFL rules, I get to catch the ball before being hit right? So it's just a matter of hanging on to it. |

Re: Which is the hardest?
After looking at this for a few days, my list is:
Easiest 1. NFL 2. MLB 3. Soccer 4. NBA 5. Golf but really, I think this reflects short term luck more than anything else. |
