if I bet this river, its not with the intention of folding.

do we agree on this FF?

[/ QUOTE ]

If I get c/raised, the price would obviously be amazing. But can you see a c/raise bluff here? What worse hand can you see calling this flop, c/calling, then making a c/raise on river when I'm obviously pot-stuck?

[/ QUOTE ]

so if you chose to bet 1500, you would fold for last 1800 when the pot is over 10k? against twin?? with an over house???

thats awful.

id either bet 1800 or stick it in, prob doesnt matter much. id tend to shove it in against him, let him talk himself into a call with a 10k pot staring at him.

If I chose to bet, I obviously wouldn't fold.

If you are thinking of checking behind here, then YSSCKY.

Seriously. I have re-read the OP three times because I had the feeling I must be missing something. It's official. I'm not.

FF,

There is $5868 in the pot. Your opponent has checked. You have a full house. You have $3291 left.

What am I missing?

is your turn bet actually like $260 smaller than your flop total bet? to me that looks too fishy if I'm the villian I don't think you go crazy with A9 on a flop with an obvious straight and sets very likely.

b)If you went crazy with a 9 (again unlikely) you hit your dream card but now only bet ~1000 and about 250 less than the flop, when there is a gazzilion flush and straight draws.. It seems rather transparent that you've got a full house by now.

I don't play on stars so I don't know him but my default is all in here, even if you've transparently played it as a full house.

I mean I don't see a value bet here with your stack and the pot size (being more profitable in the long run vs. the less times you get called by an all in).

I guess if you think he hit top pair J you can sell it for a minimal price

Muck. Don't even bother showing down, its obvious he has 98 and you don't want to give yourself a loose image. Or push all-in expecting to loose, and chalk it up to your advertising budget.

I guess nothing. I checked figuring that with the dry sidepot I just wouldn't get paid off by any hand I could see villain checking on the river. I figured he'd bet 88 or 89 and that it was obvious I had a boat, so I'd check. Obviously, in hindsight that's retarded and I just wanted to open myself to public excoriation to teach myself for next time. I truly f*cked this hand up, IMO.
Oh, and he had 57 for sucker straight. Not sure if he calls a push, but obviously it would've been worth a try.
