Q9o hand (below). you 3 bet preflop and autobet flop. would follow through on turn be +EV, or were you afraid of getting bluff raised? or was that a whiffed CR attempt? cause it just seems that by checking the turn you've given up on the hand.

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with 9s, Qd.
Button (poster) raises, Hero raises, Button (poster) calls

Flop: (7.00 SB) Jh, 7h, 4d (2 players)
Hero bets, Button (poster) calls

Turn: (4.50 BB) 2h (2 players)
Hero checks, Button (poster) checks

River: (4.50 BB) 7d (2 players)
Hero checks, Button (poster) checks

Final Pot: $599

Results in white below:
Button (poster) has Ad 8s (One pair, sevens(ace kicker))
Big blind has 9s Qd (One pair, sevens)
Outcome: Button (poster) wins $599

he is giving up on the hand. he got called on a J47 2 hearts board after the 3-bet, the turn is a low third heart, he doesn't have any... you can't expect his opponent to go anywhere for one bet, so cut your losses and give it to him.

a couple of these hands have questions, a couple are just comments. Also, viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddddddddeoooooooo. HU/Shorthanded videos rule. Need more.

Hand 1

The cap on the flop looks like a bit much. You have 12 outs for sure and maybe more, but it definitly seemed like he has something as I was reading this. Maybe call 3bet, and c/c UI or donk turn (Im torn on whethered Id have the sack to donk here, I dont usually backdown, just seemed strong, unless hes putting another play on u w/ a smaller pair, gutshot, etc) if u improve to a pair. Once u are on the river its pretty big, oui, and he probably doesnt have the 8. Leaves the 5 or the ace or 6s, if hes made...mixed w/ a possible strong draw w/ pair outs he could have. Oui. I hate these situations and usually end up calling being beat.

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with 4d, 7d.
Button (poster) raises, Hero calls

Flop: (4.00 SB) 5s, Ad, 8d (2 players)
Hero checks, Button (poster) bets, Hero raises, Button (poster) raises, Hero raises, Button (poster) calls

Turn: (7.50 BB) 7s (2 players)
Hero bets, Button (poster) raises, Hero calls

River: (11.50 BB) 8c (2 players)
Hero checks, Button (poster) bets, Hero calls

Final Pot: $1799

Results in white below:
Button (poster) has Jd Ac (Two Pairs, aces and eights)
Outcome: Button (poster) wins $1799

Hand 2

Thats a sick fold. Thats so usually not a bluff, if it was, thats a sick move against a good player. Still nice fold, Im pretty sure Id do the same (I hope anyway)

Preflop: Hero is Button (poster) with 9d, 9h.
Hero raises, Big blind calls

Flop: (4.00 SB) 5c, As, Qd (2 players)
Big blind checks, Hero bets, Big blind calls

Turn: (3.00 BB) 4d (2 players)
Big blind checks, Hero bets, Big blind calls

River: (5.00 BB) Kd (2 players)
Big blind bets, Hero folds

Final Pot: $749

Hand 3

I was curious, do u think calling this rainbow flop and making a move on the turn would win this pot? I dont think u can win this on the flop, to many gutters/draws possible for him to fold. Even then u may have the best hand. Still its also possible you have 3 outs at best or outkicked. Just curious.

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with Ah, 2h.
Button (poster) raises, Hero calls

Flop: (4.00 SB) J, 6, 7 (rainbow flop)
Hero checks, Button (poster) bets, Hero folds

Final Pot: $299

Hand 4

If u get popped on the turn, are u showdown bound UI?

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with 5s, 7d.
Button (poster) raises, Hero calls

Flop: (4.00 SB) 9s, 8c, Kh (2 players)
Hero checks, Button (poster) bets, Hero raises, Button (poster) calls

Turn: (4.00 BB) 5s (2 players)
Hero bets, Button (poster) folds

Final Pot: $599

Hand 5

Nice fold.

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with K, 8.
Button (poster) raises, Hero raises, Button (poster) calls

Flop: (7.00 SB) J, 4, 3 (2 players)
Hero bets, Button (poster) raises, Hero folds

Final Pot: $599

I saw a couple spots where you 3 bet the flop instead of calling to trap.

it actually seems like you didnt trap at all - that's the only comment i can make - uneducated plays good and I think he probably made the correct river decision a higher % of the time than most players and I think its because your gear on flop 3 bets didnt change.
