Default ipod..

anyone familiar with futureshop warrenties. ive had my ipod for a while and i want to get it .. "broken" so that i cna upgrade to the newest model of hte ipod.. anyone have any idea to do it w/o physical damaage. and enough damage that it has to be completely erased? i.e. the wheel broke or somet

Calling apple's ipod support will help. If your ipod is truly messing up, you can send it to them, and they will either fix it or send you a new one. Really depends on your conversation with the agent. I think a basic drop on a hard floor a few times can do the trick.

Warranties don't give you a newer version of the iPod.

They either fix it or give you a refurb of the same old version you already had.

Wear and tear or physical damage are also not covered.
