must have had dewey on a flush draw... but dewey's call would indicate otherwise.

Under the context, it could have been a great/terrible play depending on his read of dewey.

I dont understand why people make this atrocious plays and take themselves seriously.

Dewey would be a fish at NL25 at Party. On strassa's first hand at the table he'd minraised in EP with Q2s and flopped a flush. strassa check/called around $500 to him on that hand. A couple hands later he was in there with J2s and doubled up with a boat (JJ on flop, 2 on river). But I have no idea at all what his hand range is for calling a flop bet... or a flop push.

this is all just a matter of how often dewey folds... I felt he folds very often. I was wrong and hit my 4 outer.

Nah. You probably had more than four outs. I think it's fine as long as shortstack isn't a rock (shortstacks rarely are).
