Default Stars 75/150

What's the deal with this game being restricted? I emailed support about being allowed to play in it, and they asked me to give them my phone number, which I did. They didn't call me after a few days and i emailed them again, and said they would call me shortly. Its been a few days.
Anyone know what's the deal?

They are going to give you a little lecture on the dangers of high limit poker.

It just doesn't make sense to me that they restrict a 75/150 O8 game, but allow you to play 10/20 PLO.

Yeah not sure what the deal with that is. The 10/20 game was restricted when it first started.

It is because high limit omaha high-low attracts more collusion than any other game. The extra card knowledge makes this game very profitable to colluders. Imagine knowing that your king high flush is good, or that a higher full house than yours is impossible in certain situations, or many other scenarios.

They don't do it for collusion-protection, though your points are valid (these issues apply more to big bet games).

It's simply Pokerstars policy to restrict all high limit games (above 30/60, I believe). The obvious reason is fear of bad players tilting off a roll they'd slowly lose, with rake, at lower limits.
