Half of his stack is in the Pot with a call from SB. Hes easily getting 2-1 on his money. Is he really gonna fold?

I am not sure of $50 games because I only play at the $20 games but you have a not good hand and bad guy has a better hand. Are you hoping for another 4? It is not likely to arrive. Well sometimes but not oftin.

I read the first three replies and now I'm confused.

I thought the point of the raise was to get SB to fold and now have more dead money in the pot?

*Edit* Just read bigt's reply. That's what I thought. FWIW, I think this is pretty mandatory.

Yeah exactly...Dead money makes this good...what worries me (would worry me) and Bigt mentioned this, is the minraise from button?!?! Makes me think I might possibly need a lot more dead loot in the middle to do this...In game time I'd probably push though...bad SB for calling...bad sb

well if your raise was just to knock the sb, then there's nothing wrong with it. like kyro said, pretty basic. i thought the purpose of the squeeze was to get both the original raiser and the caller to fold.

You are pwning SB and that is good, but what up with SB's preflop raise? Did he have QQ+ or was he that bad?
