Default xorbie thinks I suck

xorbie is SB here. Button is a little tilty. He said afterwards he hated my push.

BB ($58.85)
UTG ($274.78)
MP ($203.60)
Hero ($233.24)
Button ($43.88)
SB ($387.12)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1.
2 folds, Hero raises to $8, Button calls $43.88 (All-In), SB (poster) calls $42.88, 1 fold, Hero raises $225.24 (All-In)

I hate your push.

many times the cold call here is a monster just waiting for you to isolate.

if he had a hand like JJ, QQ, AK, why does he not isolate himself with a raise?

maybe b/c you made him fold a better hand?

there's no real reason to push here, or even call the reraise. You're a smart player-explain why this WAS a good move.

How much folding equity do you have against QQ and JJ? I guess not much

its not that that you should be worried about.

its the fact that QQ and JJ are unlikely hands here.

also a push is not that convincing.

a 3 bet to 150 is much scarier.

damn did not notice this was 200s. disregard 150 comment.

xorbie's not an idiot; this is obviously exactly the same as pushing.

does the smooth call of a rr from the sb (from xorbie no less) and getting insufficient 1-8 odds on set, drawing hands, etc...from a player who understands all of this...

using that you should be able to narrow his hand range down pretty easily. And these hands aren't folding to an all-in.

almost any pocket pair with it more likely to be AA/KK than QQ/JJ.
