Does that PFR include all the times you sit heads up pummeling lost full ring nits who wandered onto a 6 max table by mistake?

My primary game at the moment is the skins 1/2 6-max game so take that as the context.

I will openraise a wide range of hands (big cards, pairs, suited connectors et al) depending on what the current table conditions are (position, opponents' tendencies, etc.). However, if I raise after limpers, I always have a big hand (big broadways, big pair, etc.)-- I generally just overlimp my connectors, small pairs, suited aces, etc. I doubt people in the game have noticed this as people at this level generally suck but maybe they have. Is this something I should be concerned about?

[/ QUOTE ]

I tend to do the same- I'm much more inclined to raise 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]/A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]/etc if its folded to me, while I tend to limp with the previous if there are limpers in front.

50NL 6 max

I've been working very hard to get my preflop raise up from 7/8 to 12/15. Last session I was 28/15.

Mostly what I have done is decided that if I'm playing a hand I'm gonna raise no matter how many limpers or what my cards are. I do the standard 3/4 x bb + 1 for limpers and have been presently surprised to find folks often times folding to my raise.

Well not everytime. But often. Having limpers and raising 6BB gives you a hell of a lot of postflop fold equity, which is a real luxury for me.

And what is your range of hands to call standard raises?
All the hands you open raise with or tighter? Do you call with low suited connectors or unsuited broadways in positon or out of position?

If you think it might be a leak because players can notice you only do this with particular hands, why not mix in a limp with hands like AK once in a while?

Its only a leak if people notice; if they don't, why change it at all?
