how long have u gone w/o poker?

what's the longest hiatus from poker u guys have taken.. i really need a break, i just had my back snapped in half and this last half of the month has just been bad....

MORE people calling 200$ bets with OESD. lol oh man i wish i could stand variance.

Its hard, but try and find a new focus besides poker. Try and read a few books/learn a new hobby (weightlifting, a sport, cooking, etc).

Once you find a new passion, you'll find it is quite easy to forget about poker. Being at college, I don't have as much time for poker as I did in the past.

Try and find a new passion, and you will learn to enjoy poker more, instead of thinking it as a grind/way to make money.

6+ months.

Try playing a differnt game for a while - one that doesnt involve money. Backgammon is a good one - keeps you thinking and a lot of backgammon pros have gone on to great poker careers (Harrington comes to mind)

If I'm running bad I generally take a week off or so to refocus. I haven't played since thursday.
