Default Usefull Limit Programs

I have Poker Tracker and use GT+ but what is PA HUD and Party Miner? What features are better than PT and GT+? I also use an excel spreadsheet someone created in the SnG forum for my SnG tracking and it pulls the info from PT. I feel what I have now is fine but curious as to what else is out there.

PA HUD is hands-free & realtime; you don't have to manually tell the program (like with GT+, at least the versions I used) what tables you are on, and you don't have to wait until you actually sit down before it displays anything. PA HUD will work whether you are seated at the table or not, and will update the table averages every single hand (including taking a player out of the averages when he leaves). I also discovered quite by accident that PA has an autograb feature to save hand histories on UB. And it's highly customizable (including what stats are displayed on your tables, and where).

It's worth a trial run, IMO, and at least for the time being it is still freeware (although future versions will be payware).

That & PT are all I use, and I'm completely happy with the information they give me.

PA HUD is far superior to GT+. Not sure what Party Miner is. I'll have to look it up.

PA HUD is MUCH better than GT+. I switched awhile back and it's the best thing I ever did. PA HUD is much faster, loads tables automatically and generally doens't lock up my computer.

PartyMine keeps open 10 tables with players on them, so you can datamine the observed hands with pokertracker.

PokerTracker most certainly does NOT open and close tables for you.

Ah. I see. Wasn't clear that PM actually opens and closes the tables. What are the criteria that PM uses for selecting tables?

It will close a table and open a new one if the # of players drops below a min # you set in the options.

I have mine set so it will always keep 10 5/10 6m tables open with a minimum of 5 players.

Get PA HUD. I paid $50 for PV and still use PA HUD because it has less bugs.
