Default Am I justified?

The guy started the hand with $21 *TOTAL* in his stack. I thought there was some chance he was stacking off, but I don't know if I was right in thinking so.

I think you played it ok, though it helps to know if the guy is shortstacked b/c he's playing too tight or just badly.

I'm actually more interested in preflop. Is this default for you (and everyone else against an UTG raiser)?

Is this from tonight? The 2/4 games on Party are SWEEEEEEEEEEET!

against an unknown, yeah it's standard for me. the guy's gotta be something like XX/4 after a few hundred hands for me to fold.

i think we need a flop bet so he can raise and drive out UTG and his overcards.

Arent you calling down in case the button has overcards, as opposed to a higher pocket pair ? In which case, why try to drive out UTG ?

I suppose if button and UTG had different overcards, that it might be advantageous to fold out UTG.

against a preflop capper? what's the point when you don't believe his raise anyways? makes no sense. you're either already behind or up against overcards. i guess a small pocket pair may be possible, so i'll put it this way: if you're betting the flop, then you've put yourself in a situation to call down almost regardless of the board.

No idea if this is right or wrong, but this is exactly why I bet the flop. I wanted UTG out, since I thought this guy might easily be stacking off.
