Pretty standard I say, don't want villian chasing with a high heart for cheap, it's unlikely for him to flop a flush and if he did have it I'd expect him to bet out on the turn. So I have all his money in here too, especially as you have such a LAG image and a huge stack.

I like to raise preflop to $2.50.

Flop is good, turn bet is good. Now you call his raise because if you're behind you have 10 outs, and all you have to do is call $4 into a $40 pot... you have the odds.

Yes, the set looks good at the turn, but calling the check-raise isn't right. The guy made a horrible pf call and is going to get paid. Nothing you're going to do is going to bluff him off of it.

But, there's now $52 or so in the pot. It's going to cost you $15 to see the river, about 3.5:1 odds, right (36:10). I say your EV is neutral to slightly negative on this play. And you find out that the villain is pretty much pot committed any time he's in, although he does have position on you here, which may have been a factor. Doesn't sound like he thinks that much, though.

i dont know, the thing is, when i isolate someone in 6 max. ugh i have a tendency to never give credit for flopped flush.

i dont know if thats a bad mentality, (unless i start seeing them play any 2 cards "sooted" as this villian did).. but if its unknown..

i had a feeling that the turn was a sucker card too. haha ah well.

Villain doesn't have position on us here. By position, do you mean this specific C/R situation?

I misread it again. For some reason I was thinking hero was BB. I've got to read the sheets more carefully.
