Default Some little leak checks QTo

1) Folded to you in MP3 with QTo vs unknowns in the blinds. Your action?

2) Folded to you on the button with QTo vs. loosish blinds?

3) A loose player limps in UTG+2, and then it is folded to you in the SB with... you guessed it, QTo.

4) A player with a VPIP of about 25% open-limps in MP2, MP3 folds and you are in the CO with loose blinds behind.

And finally...

5) You have QTo in the SB, and an aggressive player on the button raises after it is folded to him. (I assume this is an easy call on the BB)

Also, assign a percent of confidence you have for each play...

fold, too early

raise/fold 50-50, It depends on how the blinds play after the flop.

complete, half a bet, sure.

call, and plan on having the blinds in there with me.

fold, depends on who the BB is, but I don't think it is worth it OOP 3 way.

To unspecific, You need to state how loose... its so situation dependant.

QTo is weak, and changes in situations.

1) Fold, unless table is a rock garden then raise. Limping blows chunks

2) Raise, especially if blinds are weak post flop

3) If UTG+2 is a weak player, then raise to isolate otherwise complete

4) Fold everytime

5) Depends

I think reads are extremely important with weak hands like Q10o. Without good reads I tend to fold it in the overwhelming majority of situations.

Full ring I've had it 205 times (out 25k) won 9.8%, VPIP 19.5, PFR 3.4, WtSD 21%, W$SD 58%. My 6max sample is way too small to share.

I used to limp with Q10o too much. Now I usually raise it or dump it. I essentially only call with it in the blinds.

I'll give it a shot, grunch-style.

1) Folded to you in MP3 with QTo vs unknowns in the blinds. Your action?

Fold. ~80%. I would rarely play this in middle position, let alone open with it. With unknown blinds, and two more to act, it's asking for trouble.

2) Folded to you on the button with QTo vs. loosish blinds?

Fold. I'm only 50% sure here. My second thought is to raise. I guess I don't know what the equity of raising here is. Limping is the last thought to enter my mind.

3) A loose player limps in UTG+2, and then it is folded to you in the SB with... you guessed it, QTo.

Raise, isolate the fish, and pound away. I'm only 50% sure of this.

4) A player with a VPIP of about 25% open-limps in MP2, MP3 folds and you are in the CO with loose blinds behind.

Limp. 30%. really don't know...

5) You have QTo in the SB, and an aggressive player on the button raises after it is folded to him. (I assume this is an easy call on the BB)

fold. I might defend if this were suited, but I'm not sure. 30%

I gotta admit, questions like these make me feel clueless, but hey, I know from experience that learning can be painful!

I'm interested in any follow-up on these hands. Adam, how do you play them?

1. I'd most likely raise or fold. If it was CO I'd raise for sure unless the blinds ALWAYS defended. I don't think I'd ever open-limp this from there.

2. From the button I'd probably raise even though I was pretty sure they were calling me being loose. I know I'll have position. Though, I'm not too sure what is the +EV move.

3. I'd complete? My hand may be better than the limper's, but with no one else in the pot besides the limp, SB and BB, I just may fold. Suited I'd raise most likely.

4. Foldarino. Position in a small pot would be nice, but knowing the limper only plays 25%, I'm probably beat, if not dominated I'm thinking. Not real sure about the EV play here.

5. More often than not I'll re-raise, call down, and get shown AA. Then I'll ask the Lord, "Why can't you just give me 23os in the SB when the LAG is on the button?" I'd re-raise here to try to push out the BB and see what happens on the flop.

No good? I should call a plumber.

I'm more aggressive than the average 2+2er so...

1-Raise 100%
2-Raise 100%
3-Complete 100%
4-Raise 100%
5-Fold 50%/50%

1) Fold, although at sites like Crypto my default is to raise against unknowns.

2) Raise.

3) Just complete, I'd need better reads like BB being tight and SB being terrible or tight postflop to raise.

4) I just limp

5) Fold

1. Raise 90%+.
2. Raise 95%+.
3. Complete 100%.
4. Fold.
5. Fold.

Edit: With loose passive blinds in example 4, I think a limp is fine.
