Default More \"Re-learning 6-max\"... a calldown I\'d rarely make in full ring

Villain is a decent player, 24/17/2 over ~100 hands, though this is my first personal hand against him (the others came via data mining). For whatever reason, he's sitting with 130BB at the table, if that means anything (and mostly I don't think it does). I'm interested in two things: what your thoughts are on his range after he 3-bets the flop, and how you handle his turn bet? I think the river is pretty straightforward the way I played the other streets...

Also, FWIW, I rarely play the same hand this way in full ring, but I really felt like this is the kind of adjustment I'll have to make to get teh $$ in 6-max, at least against aggro opponents. Yes/No?

Looks fine.
He could easily still have overcards or some kindve draw.

I hope you tell us he showed AK, because that would tie in nicely with some advice I recently gave in a very similar instance here.
(Higher chance for a flop 3-bet semibluff in your case, though, making calling the turn slightly better than in his. Also, his preflop raiser is easier to put on a strong hand like a high pocket given the preflop action.)

Villain had Ac5s... I don't think he makes this flop 3-bet without some kind of draw, but this one was surprisingly weak.

Could be that he's got some data on me from the past week that I'm folding to flop and turn aggression too often, which I think is natural for someone like me who is just moving (back) into 6max from full games after a long break.

Since this guy is likely PFRing 22% from the button, I reraise him preflop.

You stole my thoughts looking at the flop as well. You crafty bastard. Im guessing he also has a club in his hand as well.
