Default Mike Matusow vs. Greg Raymer

Hopefully they get paired at the same table again before this thing is over.

I don't know what kind of say ESPN has as to who sits at the feature table, but if can make it happen they will.

There is a video on cardplayer.com that explains how they chose. Essentialy, they pick a table with an intresting player as the featured table, no "special" table is created.

So they don't affect the draw right?

They look for the best table and best matchups and goto that one?

Yea, I don't think they can pick players to put at a table. They just take the most interesting existing table.

Thanks for that info.

A (the) feature table is a "camera" table. Is there only one camera table? Also from what you outlined they have to make the choice of the "table" they want before players sit down for the day. For example ESPN likes Table #71. They let the Floor know and Table #71 players go to the camera table. Sound right?

How often do "name" players get moved FROM the feature table? Has ESPN ever halted the action and decided to "swap" the feature table for a different, jucier one as play progresses through the day?

Yeah that is right. And once table 71 is scheduled to be broken, it will be broken and espn gets to pick another one. Presumably if that table is too boring or all of the names get busted then they could switch in the middle of the day.

I'm looking forward to seeing Raymer bust Matusow so we can watch him sob like a girl-chile again this year - good stuff.
