I think they might notice it but in a different way than you imagine.

for example, with limpers, your preflop raise amount is probably more if you follow the 4xbb +1bb per limper, hence they will perhaps think that big raises 6xbb + are premium hands but 4xbb raises are occasionally steals.

Interesting bit : you don't have to want to mix it up to limp AK.

You could set up this little experiment:
Against a player you know to be particularly observant, limp with AK or something and see if he behaves as if he's putting you on small sc's.
