Default Internet Series of Poker (e-mail from Royal Vegas)

I got the following e-mail from Royal Vegas. I guess this is the first event to the Internet Series of Poker that Granny and folks were putting together?

Serves me right for not reading anything other than the zoo. I didn't even know that forum existed...

Hi SamJack,

Yes, this is the first event, but there are some problems with this email that jek & granny are getting straightened out with RVP.

Specifically, all of the preliminary events are individual $1k buy-in tournaments. They way RVP has it listed in the email implies the April 3rd event is some sort of satellite to the $5k championship event which is NOT correct. All prize money will be awarded for each preliminary tournament and the winner will get an automatic buy-in into the final event (similar to a WPT sort of format). Also, they have listed the April 3rd event as having $25 rebuys, which is not correct either, as this would create an absolute madhouse and it is my understanding that all of the ISOP events are freezeouts with no rebuys. (There will probably be rebuy satellite events that feed the preliminary and championship events, but the main events themselves will NOT have rebuys.)

We applogize for any confusion this is causing and are doing our best to get it fixed ASAP.

Thanks,
Jason
