most newbs are too passive. i've told a number of aggressive PT stat posters to be more passive on the flop tho.

there are a number of overcard topics discussing when to fold them for a single bet. auto-betting is a leak. auto-raising is ridiculous. it is suggested sometimes, but its wrong.

assuming illunious plays flawlessly postflop, he is definitely missing out on some marginally +EV hands with his preflop game. the rock comments only referred to his preflop play. no one is suggesting he is LJ weak-tight or SSH aggro.

So how long did it take you to play 150K+ hands?

I agree. If you don't hit the flop in these low limits, you are often wasting money with aggression. The trick is to be hyper-aggressive those times you really have something to show down.

I sure wish that Sample Size Man would deem this sufficient.

I have 160k hands in my entire poker career, in 14 months.

illunious, can you post your aggression factor stats also? These would be useful if we are going to talk about post-flop play.

What are you still doing at .50/1?

[/ QUOTE ]
I like the easy money. When I put in a 5 hour session (2k hands), it's -rare- that I don't come out a winner.

[ QUOTE ]
Personally I think you could be a bit more aggressive pre-flop and get that up to 8 or higher.
Your VP$ISB is a bit low, shoot for 31-32%.

[/ QUOTE ]
It is very true that I could squeak out some more EV through raising and calling more preflop. When I play single or 2 table on my laptop, I get way more LAG preflop (and it seems to be profitable). When I am 10 tabling, I have no interest in pushing my marginal (common) situations, I like to take half the clicking in exchange for maybe -1 BB/100. That -1 BB/100 is huge when you move up, and are winning 1-2 BB/100, but at .5/1, the large part of your money is made through ram/jam with big draws (flush/straight/trips).

[ QUOTE ]
Your WONatSD numbers are SPECTACULAR!

[/ QUOTE ]
Probably thanks to my rock-like preflop game. My "Hands Won" during a day is normally 3-6%, and winning 3% of hands at 8 BB/100 isn't all too uncommon.

[ QUOTE ]
Btw - do you play anything else than AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AKs, AQ, AQs?

[/ QUOTE ]
A couple weeks ago, I calculated my winrate if playing only my top 16 hands and free big blinds (yes, this includes folding something like 55 in the SB after 8 limps). It was 1.4 BB/100.

[ QUOTE ]
IT'S A ROCK

[/ QUOTE ]
FWIW I think my post-flop stats are pretty solid, though I will pass on my marginal situations which may be profitable in the long run (many of the SSH situations) in exchange for less clicks.

[ QUOTE ]
did you lose a bet or was this to prove a point?

[/ QUOTE ]
There was some thread in the general forum which required some point proving. I figured since I had the screenshots, I'd post em here since it was more relevant.

[ QUOTE ]
Are you implying that SSHE could be wrong and it would have been best to just play like a rock all along?

[/ QUOTE ]
Please understand my previous points on passing on marginal situations. SSH is not wrong, it's just that in a game like this, you can get away with playing like this, in higher stakes games, these marginal situations are what seperates average from good players.

[ QUOTE ]
I bet that postflop, illunious's play resembles SSHE way more so than WLLHE.

[/ QUOTE ]
There are SSHE concepts that I -never- use, there are others that are -key-. Honestly I can't even remember any WLLHE post-flop concepts

Thanks for the responses everyone, I will post more screenshots and comments.

When I am 10 tabling

Wow!

I have to say this is impressive. 2K hands in 5 hours! So in real terms you are earning $16/hour? And at 0.5/1! That's impressive. I could live off that. It must be pretty draining though?

With an 8K BB roll, I wouldn´t make lower EV choices to make up for variance.

You can loosen up alot preflop, but that have allready been said.

btw, you should challenge Brian in that most hands/month thing that is running in general.
