It depends, what is my position, how many opponents and are they loose/tight preflop and postflop?
Heads up I want QTo, multiway I think I want JTo. I really only want to play them for a single bet preflop, hopefully I have position and can anticipate action post flop if I hit my hand. Vern Standard Disclaimer, I am by no means an expert at any of this.

QJo is much better. people *greatly* overvalue the "makes more straights" feature of JT. i'll take "makes a stronger TP with a stronger kicker" every time.
JTo is unplayable pre MP3. QJo is about the same, but it can raise a loose limper whereas JTo cannot.

It must be a long term loser.

It must be a long term loser. [/ QUOTE ] Well look at the Jones book (WLLH 2nd edition). He actually said that he found JTo to be STRONGER than he had previously thought. If I remember correctly he recommends to play it for one bet from any position. The thing I found interesting when comparing 2+2 to Jones, is that one side found JTo to be weaker than previously thought and the other found it to be stronger. I don't think Jones says to play JTo from any position. I think you're confusing JTo with JTs.
He says that it can be played for a profit from LP after limpers.

ok, well that is why i threw in the "remember correctly thing", something didn't seem right. i sold mine on ebay after about 5 read throughs. thanks for the correction.
