Default Why so few high-stakes tables at Party?

Hi all,

I am baffled as to why there are such few high stakes tables at Party, you got to wait 2h+ to get a seat... surely, they are losing money by not providing enough tables for high rollers! There *must* be a reason... anyone got an idea??

Thx.

They aren't losing any money in rake. They are protecting the fish by not letting them bust out too quickly. They end up going off in the 15/30 and last twice as long in between rebuys. Meow.

My bad - I meant Mid-stake (30/60 tables) or $200 NL's

Say I have $10k, and you have $10k. We're going to play until someone has all the money. If you were Party, would you prefer that we play headsup $10-$20 or $1k-$2k?

That's what I meant too. Guess I should have said that to start with. There are so few 30's for the fish to go broke in. If they had a limitless amount or even just more, the fish would go broke too fast. It would also severely cripple the 15/30 game, which is a partypoker and skins staple. This occurence happened when party started spreading the 10/20 6 max and again when party started spreading 15/30. I would guess that party will eventually open up a fourth table this year. Meow.

I get you. Are there any sites which cater for high rollers then?

Stars has 1/2 holdem and 75 O/8, UB has Heads 200/400 holdem and O/8, an 80 holdem game that goes infrequently and 25/50 nl holdem. Interpoker has holdem games up to 150/300.
