ken macha WTF?!!?

is all i have to say about this game.

as for the yankees giving up 10, well, thats what happens when your ace gets thrown out in the 2nd inning because of some idiot umpire and you have to put in scott proctor and felix rodriguez. when they put in tanyon it was over. a lot of the hits were actually luckbox hits, two of those "bounce over the pitchers head middle infielders got it but it was too slow to throw him out" and two rolling slow grounders through the hole.

lol right, the reason that proctor, schilling, and f-rod all have 5+ eras (schillings is the worst of all 3) is because theyve been getting unlucky. they all suck.

im talking about 4 hits, while youre implying that schillings 10 appearance plus length of sucking is bad luck.

okay, we'll debate which hits were lucky and which weren't.
WTF.

By the way, this is one of the main arguments for DIPS. You let the ball get put into play, and things happen. It's mostly not the pitcher's fault.

winning 11-10 is a lot luckier than winning 3-2.

I agree Oakland should have put their best reliever in the 10th inning - but most managers wouldn't put in the closer until they have the lead.

Sublime wasn't bashing Aaron Small - he was complimenting him. No way anyone would have predicted Small to pitch as well as he has - or Chacon, or Wang. Or Giambi to hit anywhere NEAR as well as he has.

How many guys on the Red Sox have come out of nowhere and had a big year? Tell me, because I can't think of a single one.
