it ia right next to the sports book where the trophies rest. used to be. There are 11 tables there and they were all full at 2am fri night. They were spreading 2/4 4/8 with 1/2 kill, ohama, amd 1/2 NL. The biggest game they have had since opening is 3/5 blind NL with $500 max buy in.

I asked the shift boss if any plans to spread bigger games and the highest limit game being planned is 6/12 with kill to 10/20.

Also the rake there is higher than other station casinos. On the 4/8 game it was $4 max 10% other stations have $3 max. The acion was good though

They opened on Tuesday. I played there on Tuesday night and thought the room was "okay" at best. YMMV.

As the other poster said, the rake is higher then at other Station's poker rooms. Which kind of sucks. The room was packed when I was there.

Cocktail bar directly behind poker room is a plus. As is Lucille's BBQ within easy walking distance!

Best of Luck

I generally liked the physical infrastructure, dealers, and soft competition at the new GVR room. But, on opening night, the room was a complete train wreck with regard to management. I'll go back again, it probably won't be anytime soon.

2 questions:
- station casinos seem to be the best in town at spreading Omaha Hi.. any idea if GVR's omaha is a typical 24/7 spread like Boulder Station and Sunset Station or it's spread only at specific times like Sante Fe Station..... ?

- i've lately gotten into craps.. (yes i know -EV, but sometimes you need to get up and stretch from the table for 20 minutes...) what's GVRs limits like? $2? $5? $10? for those of you who have ever walked by the table
