Default Re: Buying Kane\'s Hand History Database

3PTBB/100 in 10/20NL is the same as 2PTBB/100 in 30/60 I am not sure if many players can sustain 2PTBB/100 at 30/60 limit. Bear in mind that this 3PTBB/100 of Kane is big surprise for many posters here. There for sure are people who can sustain at least 5PTBB/100.
Btw its little strange that winrates are similair at every limit level (3BB/100 is godlike at almost any level) but in NL it changes drastically. Up to 200NL you can easily kill the game for 10PTBB/100 or more but things are not so happy at higher levels where even sth like 5PTBB/100 maybe considered dominating the game.

Best wishes

I figured since Kane seems to be one of the best players at this limit, no one would be making 5 or 6 if he's only at 3. Maybe 3.75 tops. 2+ isn't an unreasonable long-term winrate for a very good 30 player. It's when you start getting near 3 that you're really pushing the bounds of what's possible/sustainable IMO.

So, can I ask, how are you planning on distributing the DB to people who purchase it? at 200,000 hands, I'm guessing the file size will be pretty significant, so electronic transfer might be awkward...

No. Not at the 10/20. Are you just making this stuff up or does it have some grounding?

it sounds like no grounding. also, 200nl is not "easily beatable for 10ptbb or more".

By the way, I'm not screwing with Kane or anything here. I am actually considering this purchase. What would be the best way to view this database? Would I have to load it into a reader or just review each hand in its raw form?

Do you have Pokertracker? However you view your hands is how you can view my hands. Its as if you stole my Notebook and have my PT with all my hands.

No, it's binary. It's all stored in MS Access files.. which compress okay, but not wonderfully.

Grounding is the following : When Kane wrote that he beat 10/20 for 3PTBB/100 there were bunch of people who said "ONLY !??". No more grounding.
And yes 200NL is easily beatable for 10PTBB/100. The problem is most people who can easily do it moved up long ago.

EDIT : in fact I wrote 10PTBB/100 to avoid being flamed I believe even higher results are sustainable but it I guess its not easy.
